This Blooming Nymph is a clay mixed media bust, hand sculpted to be the only one of its kind in the world. Dr Dolan is a master color composer. He layers paints and mediums to allow the piece to actually change color, depending on the time of day or the angle of light. An extremely unique paint technique is displayed here, on the lower section, resembling abalone-like hues and light refractions. It is like a silvery pearl dust and magic have been painted over her. A very powerful presence for anyone to see and touch.
